Visa Requirement

1. Passport with a validity of 06 months from the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States. It shall contain at least two blank pages to affix the visa and should be along with all old passport booklets. It shall have been issued within the previous 10 years. No alteration or handwritten amendment concerning the data page.
2. Visa Application Form should be filled online & signed by the applicant as per passport(http://evisa.mae.ro/home) Hand written visa application forms are not accepted.
3. Photo Specification: 2 Recent Colour Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for any visa), 35mm x 45mm. White Background, Matte/ glossy finish, 80% Face coverage, Non-smiling face, without spectacles, no head covering unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background.
4. Ticket itinerary.
5. Hotel vouchers.
6. Travel Insurance as per Schengen specification, matching with ticket dates with risk coverage of Euro 50,000.

If a Business person, then following documents are required:

1. Covering Letter on the business letter head, Addressed to The Embassy of Romania, New Delhi mentioning the. Company profile, Nature of Relationship between both the companies, applicant’ name as per passport, passport number, Designation in the company, purpose and duration of visit, expenses clause and to be stamped and signed by the authorized person of the company.
2. Incorporation certificate of the company/ partnership deed/ proprietorship copy and GST copy of all 3 pages are required.
3. Company’s Income Tax Return of last 3 years.
4. Company’s 6 months original Bank statement with Bank Seal with Signatures and the name of the Bank Officer issuing the bank statement, with complete contact details of bank including the phone number. With at least Rs 85,000/- balance and should not be older than 2 days.
5. Personal Income Tax Return of last 3 years.
6. Personal 6 months original Bank statement with Bank Seal with Signatures and the name of the Bank Officer issuing the bank statement, with complete contact details of bank including the phone number. With at least Rs 85,000/- balance and should not be older than 2 days.

If salaried person (Employee), then following documents are required:

1. Covering Letter on the business letter head, Addressed to The Embassy of Romania, New Delhi mentioning the. Company profile, Nature of Relationship between both the companies, applicant’ name as per passport, passport number, Designation in the company, purpose and duration of visit, expenses clause and to be stamped and signed by the authorized person of the company.
2. Incorporation certificate of the company/ partnership deed/ proprietorship copy and GST copy of all 3 pages are required.
3. months salary slips with company stamp.
4. Personal Income Tax Return or Form 16 of last 3 years.
5. Last 6 months salary account statement in original with Bank Seal with Signatures and the name of the Bank Officer issuing the bank statement, with complete contact details of bank including the phone number. With at least Rs 85,000/- balance and should not be older than 2 days.

Documents required from Invitee Company:

1. Invitation approved by the inspectorate general for immigration – Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania.
