Visa Requirement

1. Passport with a validity of 6 months from the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States. It shall contain at least two blank pages to affix the visa and should be along with all old passport booklets. It shall have been issued within the previous 10 years. No alteration or handwritten amendment concerning the data page.
2. Application form to be filled and signed by the applicant as per passport. Form must be filled with one ink and no overwriting should be done.
3. Photo Specification: 2 Recent Colour Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for any visa), 35mm x 45mm. White Background, Matte/ glossy finish, 80% Face coverage, Non-smiling face, without spectacles, no head covering unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background.
4. Ticket itinerary.
5. Hotel vouchers.
6. Travel Insurance as per Schengen specification, matching with ticket dates with risk coverage of Euro 30,000.

If a Business person, then following documents are required:

1. Covering Letter on the business letter head, Addressed to The Embassy of Bulgaria, New Delhi mentioning the. Company profile, Nature of Relationship between both the companies, applicant’ name as per passport, passport number, Designation in the company, purpose and duration of visit, expenses clause and to be stamped and signed by the authorized person of the company.
2. Incorporation certificate of the company/ partnership deed/ proprietorship copy and GST copy of all 3 pages are required.
3. Company’s Income Tax Return of last 3 years.
4. Company’s 6 months original Bank statement with Bank Seal with Signatures and the name of the Bank Officer issuing the bank statement, with complete contact details of bank including the phone number.
5. Personal Income Tax Return of last 3 years.
6. Personal 6 months original Bank statement with Bank Seal with Signatures and the name of the Bank Officer issuing the bank statement, with complete contact details of bank including the phone number

If salaried person (Employee), then following documents are required:

1. Covering Letter on the business letter head, Addressed to The Embassy of Bulgaria, New Delhi mentioning the. Company profile, Nature of Relationship between both the companies, applicant’ name as per passport, passport number, Designation in the company, purpose and duration of visit, expenses clause and to be stamped and signed by the authorized person of the company.
2. Incorporation certificate of the company/ partnership deed/ proprietorship copy and GST copy of all 3 pages are required.
3. months salary slips with company stamp.
4. Personal Income Tax Return or Form 16 of last 3 years.
5. Last 6 months salary account statement in original with Bank Seal with Signatures and the name of the Bank Officer issuing the bank statement, with complete contact details of bank including the phone number.

Documents required from Invitee Company:

1. Original Invitation letter on the business letter head, Addressed to The Embassy of Bulgaria, New Delhi mentioning the. Nature of Relationship between both the companies, applicant’ name as per passport, passport number, purpose and duration of visit, expenses clause and to be stamped and signed by the authorized person.First page of invitation to be attested in original by ministry of interior in sofia with their reference no on it and second page to be attested by notary public in original in sofia ( copy will do for visa/ at the time of travel the applicant has to carry the original information).
